A tool that turns written lines into spoken audio in the style of Verity, the yellow AI companion from the Verity JE Minecraft mod. Cartesia's runs on Sonic, our real-time text-to-speech model: type the lines, pick a playful companion voice such as Pippa, and hear them read back as they generate. The same voices are available through the API.

Verity JE ships with a basic offline voice. The Smiley's Better Voice add-on upgrades it with cloud text to speech and supports Cartesia as a provider. Create a free account in the playground, copy an API key from the keys page, pick a voice in the Voice Library and copy its Voice ID, then choose Cartesia in the add-on's config and paste both in.

No. Cartesia is not affiliated with Verity JE or its author. The voices on this page are playful companion voices from our own library that fit Verity's energy, and you can clone a voice from a short sample if you have one you like and the rights to use it.
