Zapier AI voice agents that send call data to thousands of apps
The agent calls a Zap's webhook as a tool, or Cartesia sends the finished call to it, and the Zap carries the data to the apps you use.
Lead capture agent
Collects details and passes them to a Zap.
Instructions
Collect the caller's name, phone and request. Send them to the Zap, then tell the caller the request was passed on. Transfer to the office line if the caller asks for a person.

What a Zapier AI voice agent can do
Open one to watch a call. The grey lines are the tools the agent calls mid-sentence.
The agent posts the caller's details to a catch hook, and the Zap creates the record in whichever app you pick.
Cartesia posts call events to a hook, and the Zap sends the follow-up email or fills the sheet after the call ends.
The same tool can feed a CRM, a sheet or a class roster. Your team maps the fields in Zapier's editor, with no code to write.
Tool definitions
Webhook tools go to POST /v1/agents/tools. Transfers are a system tool on the agent. Replace the placeholder values in capitals with your own.

Set it up
Through Webhooks by Zapier. The agent has no Zapier-specific app. A webhook tool posts to your Zap's catch hook URL. Vendor details read in October 2026.
Create a Zap with a catch hook
Choose Webhooks by Zapier as the trigger, with the Catch Hook event, and copy the hook URL.
Add the webhook tool
Paste the URL and define the fields the Zap expects.
Test the trigger
Call the agent once so Zapier can read a sample, then add your action steps.
Add call events if you want them
Register a Cartesia call-events webhook that points at a second hook for post-call work.
Before you build
Zapier plans
Webhooks by Zapier may need a paid Zapier plan. Check what yours includes before you build the Zap.
Zapier is not the system of record
A catch hook sends a fixed reply, so the agent can't tell whether the Zap's later steps worked. Keep critical writes in a direct tool.

Zapier AI voice agent FAQs
How do I connect an AI voice agent to Zapier?
Start a Zap with a Webhooks by Zapier catch hook and add its URL to a Cartesia webhook tool. The agent posts the caller's details to the hook during the call, and the Zap carries them to the apps you connect. There is no Cartesia app in Zapier.
Can the Zap talk back to the caller?
Which Zapier plan do I need for webhooks?
A paid one. Zapier's help center lists Webhooks by Zapier on the Professional, Team and Enterprise plans, not Free. Check what your plan includes before you build the Zap, because without a catch hook the agent has no way to reach it.
Can a Zap run after the call ends?
Yes. Register a Cartesia call-events webhook that points at a second catch hook, and that Zap can send the follow-up email or fill a sheet once the call is over. Keep it separate from the Zap the agent calls during the conversation.
Who bills what on a Zapier setup?
Cartesia bills the call and Zapier bills the Zap. Agents run at $0.03/min, plus LLM usage and telephony, and the Zap's tasks count against your Zapier plan. Keep critical writes in a direct tool, because the agent can't see whether a Zap step failed.
